From Insight to Impact: Understanding the International Student Voice and Increasing Your Competitive Position on the global stage.
Recorded 1st October, 2025
During this 30 minute session designed for African institutions, Nannette Ripmeester illustrates how the International Student Barometer (ISB) helps to interpret data around international student satisfaction across academic, living, and support services. She delves into insights into student motivations, decision-making, and the factors driving happiness and recommendation. Nannette also shares some case studies of how ISB data is used in other countries to improve institutional performance and attract international students.
By systematically measuring international student satisfaction across the entire student journey—from application to graduation—the ISB provides data-driven insights to inform policies on attracting and retaining global talent, and help increase African universities' competitive position on the global stage.
