Lead Principal Reviewer Role
Overview:
The Lead Principal Reviewer role will provide strong leadership of the Principal Reviewer Team to ensure that inspections, inspection reports and training are of the highest quality and that all KPIs are met or exceeded. The Lead Principal Reviewer will be responsible for liaising with the project manager and, where necessary, the client to ensure smooth delivery of the project. This include leading on the weekly performance feedback and as the responsible owner of end-of-tranche summary report.
Applicants will have a strong background in school inspections, ideally in the Middle East. They will have an in-depth knowledge of the UAE School Inspection Framework and have experience of leading and teaming on inspections in the UAE. They will also have experience in managing complex projects and in leading teams successfully to ensure KPIs and deliverables are met successfully, including through feedback about performance. They will have strong inter-personal skills and be flexible and adaptable, including the ability to work purposefully and productively with clients and to communicate and problem solve successfully.

Leadership & Management |
•Overall lead on all designated areas of school review delivery and practice, overseeing and contributing to the work Principal Reviewer team to ensure that all relevant KPIs are met or exceeded. •Ensuring that all school reviews are of high quality by: being resourced appropriately; planned and scheduled effectively and delivered in line with the quality expectations of Tribal. Lead on the client weekly feedback presentations. |
Training & feedback |
•Overseeing and supporting the delivery of the project through, for example, providing developmental feedback to Principal Inspector Delivery, Principal Reviewer QA and Lead and Team Reviewers on their performance •Overseeing and/or providing training, professional support and feedback to reviewers on the ground during delivery |
Quality Assurance |
•Oversee the work of the Principal Reviewer (QA), providing feedback as necessary. •Undertake quality assurance (QA) activities based on an agree schedule, including on-site visits in line with an agreed programme of review. Undertake high quality QA of review reports as part of Tribal’s QA process and provide grade moderation, where relevant. |
Performance Management |
•Review and evaluate the performance of the Principal Reviewer Delivery and Principal Reviewer QA and take swift and appropriate action if there are any concerns about the performance of the Principal Reviewer Team or individual Principal Reviewers. |
Communications |
•Liaise with the Project Manager & Tribal Middle East team through weekly meetings as required on local logistical matters and ensure appropriate storage of documentation and records. Act as point of contact between client and Principal Reviewer team. |
Reporting & documentation |
•Oversee appropriate and accurate record keeping, including for QA, as required during the preparation and delivery of the project. •Produce and present the weekly update to the client on the reviews completed that week, providing feedback on performance and outcomes of those reviews. •Be the responsible owner for the end-of-tranche summative report of inspection outcomes. |
Principal Reviewer - Delivery
Overview:
Reporting to the Lead Principal Reviewer, the Principal Reviewer (delivery) will provide leadership of the delivery of the inspection programme, including scheduling and deployment and troubleshooting of delivery related issues, ensuring that inspections, guidance, support and training are of the highest quality and that all KPIs are met or exceeded.
Applicants will have a strong background in school inspections, ideally in the Middle East. You will have a good working knowledge of the UAE School Inspection Framework and have experience of leading and/or teaming on inspections in the UAE. You will have experience in designing and delivering training for educators. Applicants will also have delivered projects and organised teams to ensure KPIs and deliverables are met successfully. You will have strong inter-personal, organisational and problem-solving skills and will be able to use software and technology confidently.

•Ensure that training content and materials is effective and appropriate to support high-quality delivery of reviews, including training for lead and team reviewers, school leaders and client staff. •Supporting the delivery of the project through, for example, providing developmental feedback to Lead and Team Reviewers on their performance. Overseeing and/or providing training, professional support and feedback to reviewers on the ground during delivery |
Quality Assurance |
•Undertake quality assurance (QA) activities based on an agree schedule, including on-site visits in line with an agreed programme of review. Review the effectiveness and impact of training materials, making and disseminating updates as needed. •Undertake high quality QA of review reports as part of Tribal’s QA process and provide grade moderation, where relevant. |
Performance Management |

Principal Reviewer - QA
Overview:
Reporting to the Lead Principal Reviewer, the Principal Inspector (QA) role will provide strong leadership to ensure that school reviews, review reports and training are of the highest quality and that all KPIs are met or exceeded. In particular, the Principal Inspector (QA) will ensure that all QA processes are carried out efficiently and effectively so that all KPIs are met or exceeded.
Applicants will have a strong background in school inspections, ideally in the Middle East. You will have a good working knowledge of the UAE School Inspection Framework and have experience of leading and/or teaming on inspections in the UAE. You will have experience in the quality assurance of project delivery and outputs, including reports, and will be able to provide evidence-based performance feedback to team members. Applicants will have strong inter-personal, organisational and problem-solving skills and will be able to use software and technology confidently.

In particular, ensure that timelines for report production are met, and that all review reports and evidence bases meet or exceed KPIs. The Principal Reviewer (QA) will also contribute to the design and refinements of QA policy, processes and procedures. •Undertake own inspection quality assurance (QA) activities based on an agree schedule, including on-site visits in line with an agreed program of review. Complete own QA report reading as part of Tribal’s QA process and provide grade moderation, where relevant. •Undertake a final QA report read for all school review reports prior to submission to the client. Where quality concerns are identified these should be raised and resolved promptly with the relevant PR and lead reviewer prior to submission of the final report within agreed timelines. •Ensure that evidence bases, reports and other documentation as required are submitted to within agreed timelines. |

•Regularly review the performance of lead and team reviewers and take swift and appropriate action when performance is less than ‘good’ in consultation with the Lead Principal Reviewer |

•Liaise with the Project Manager & Tribal Middle East team through weekly meetings as required on local logistical matters and ensure appropriate storage of documentation and records. •Support the Lead Principal Reviewer as required with the production of the weekly and end-of-tranche client reports. |

•develop and maintain a reviewer QA feedback record and use an analysis of this information to inform the deployment and/or oversight of reviewers, as required by Lead Principal Reviewer. |
